Justine Takx (1965) is an IP lawyer with a practical mindset and over 20 years of experience as a lawyer in the corporate world. After her graduation (University of Amsterdam) she started her career at Baker & McKenzie in San Francisco/Palo Alto, and went on to work as a lawyer for Caron & Stevens in 1993. After Coopers & Lybrand and Landwell, Justine worked as an interim lawyer on various projects within the legal profession as well as for the corporate world since 2001. Among others, she completed projects for Unilever, Media Republic, Bouwfonds, Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, Cluse, HEMA and KLM.
Justine Takx has registered the following principal legal practice area in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice area: intellectual property law. Based on this registration, she is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in this registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
Antal van der Laken (1964) graduated from the University of Utrecht and started his career at Baker & McKenzie in 1991. Through the years, he concentrated on corporate law. Antal has a broad knowledge-base in the field of takeovers, venture capital transactions, financing, company reorganisations and corporate governance practices. As a legal advisor, Antal is associated with Proclare, Interhealth Holding, and the NIC, but he has not lost sight of the (litigation) practice. By appointment, he may be called upon for litigating.
